Solana is a fast, low-fee network that many crypto casinos accept, for its own coin SOL and for USDC, a dollar stablecoin that runs on it. The base network fee is 5,000 lamports per signature, a tiny fraction of a cent at most SOL prices, so even small deposits make sense. As with any crypto, payments can't be reversed, SOL's price moves, and sending a token on the wrong network can lose it.

How Solana works at online casinos
The cashier shows a Solana address for SOL or for a Solana token such as USDC. You send from a Solana wallet or an exchange; the transfer settles within seconds, and the casino credits your balance once it has seen it.
Every Solana transaction pays a fee in SOL: a base fee of 5,000 lamports for each signature (a lamport is a billionth of a SOL), half of which is burned and half paid to the validator, plus an optional priority fee that helps the transaction get in first when the network is busy. A token transfer still pays its fee in SOL, so keep a little SOL in the wallet.
Depositing with Solana
- In the cashier, choose SOL or the Solana version of a token (for example "USDC (Solana)") and copy the address. Check the minimum.
- Make sure your wallet holds a little SOL for the fee.
- Send on the Solana network. USDC also exists on Ethereum and other networks; the wrong one can lose the coins.
- Check the address and send. The money usually arrives within seconds.
Check the bonus terms; some casinos run separate crypto bonuses or exclude crypto from standard offers.
Withdrawing with Solana
Give the casino a Solana address you control, for the coin you want. After approval, the casino sends it and it arrives within seconds. A transfer to a wrong address can't be recalled.
Licensed casinos still check identity before the first withdrawal or above a set amount, and may ask where the coins came from.
Solana fees and limits
- Base fee: 5,000 lamports per signature, paid in SOL; a simple transfer has one signature.
- Priority fee: optional, set by your wallet, higher when the network is busy.
- Casino fees: some charge for crypto withdrawals; the cashier shows it.
- Exchange costs: buying SOL or USDC and selling it back cost more than the network fee.
Minimums and maximums are set per coin by the casino.
Where you can use Solana at casinos
Solana is accepted mainly by casinos licensed offshore; regulated markets rarely allow crypto. Since 11 June 2024, Australian law bans licensed online wagering providers from accepting digital currencies. Check the casino's licence and its terms for your country; our crypto casino list shows the ones we have reviewed. In many countries, spending or selling crypto that has risen in value is taxable.
Safety and privacy
Transactions are public and can't be reversed; there is no chargeback. Only connect your wallet to sites you trust and read what you are asked to sign: a casino deposit is a simple transfer, and a request to approve anything more is a warning sign. Keep your recovery phrase offline and never share it.
Downsides of Solana
- Fewer casinos accept it than Bitcoin or Ethereum.
- Token transfers need SOL in the wallet for the fee.
- SOL's price can move a lot between deposit and withdrawal.
- Payments can't be reversed; network mix-ups lose money.
Spending controls
Fast, cheap transfers make it easy to keep depositing. Set deposit limits in your casino account and keep your playing money in a separate wallet. See our responsible gambling page for self-exclusion tools and free help lines.
Alternatives to Solana
- Tron: USDT with low fees, accepted at many crypto casinos.
- Ethereum: the most widely supported token network, with higher fees.
- Litecoin: a simple coin accepted at most crypto casinos.
